About BSSI

Bergen Software Services International (BSSI) was founded in 1994 in Bergen, Norway. Although International in scope, we are proud to be a Norwegian company.

The company designs, programs, and sells software systems and services for solving problems of interest to industry.

BSSI's focus is on mathematical modeling and computer simulation applied to industrial manufacturing and assembly processes - especially for the automotive and other manufacturing industries. In particular, BSSI's software systems are intended to minimize or replace trial and error testing on physical prototypes by using mathematically valid computer simulations.

Because of the complex nature of the industrial problems addressed by BSSI, the company's software systems and services use parallel programming techniques designed specifically for distributed computing environments.

BSSI has a high competence in mathematics; painting process development, modeling and instrumentation; the boundary element method and acceleration techniques; visualization; and parallel programming.

BSSI has obtained and placed technical expertise in Norway, USA, and the UK.
